How Can I Help
First of all I would like to start off by saying: We can use all the help we can get.
We have many wonderfully talented people helping us already who are doing an incredible amount of work to make sure we are successful. I think that each of them would agree the more help we get from everyone the better the Richmond Fantasy Fair will be and with everyone helping our possibilities are limitless.
►With that in mind, I would like to make advertising everyone’s concern.
Feel free to print off as many copies of the flyer (See Page 9) to as many people as possible. E-mail them to friends, post a copy at the bulletin board at work, Post a copy at places that are supportive of renaissance and festival activities in your area, place them in the back, side window of your car, give them out to current customers or mailing lists if you have them.
Feel free to use the dollar off coupon letter (See page 10) as many times as you want. Email them to people you feel would be receptive and tell them that they may send them to anyone they feel may be receptive as well.
As an incentive program, Any letter received at the front gate that has the signature of a registered vendor on it will receive a FREE admission for that person. Only ten (10) signed letters will be accepted for each vendor.
►The look and feel of the fair has a great effect on the patrons of the fair in how much they enjoy the experience and in how much money they spend while attending the fair.
We are asking any vendor to donate the usage of any fantasy/renaissance item that will make the fair look more spectacular to the eyes of the patron. Upon the vendor application there is a space to list such items. This is to insure that any item that is used in this fashion will be returned to you after the closing the fair.
Banners, flags, coat-of arms, any form of decorations, props, ect...ect...ECT... will be gladly accepted and worked into the overall production of the Richmond Fantasy Fair.
Please remember the more you are willing to help the more patrons we will have the more, the more money will be made and the more fun everyone will have.

Because this is a very large task I am asked how we plan on accomplishing such a lofty goal.
First, we will offer incentives. Anyone with a print out of this letter will receive a dollar (1.00$) of normal admission, normally $9.00. Anyone in costume will receive an additional dollar (1.00$). So, anyone in costume and with a print out of this letter admission will be $7.00.
Second, we will be starting an aggressive flyer campaign from the northern Virginia and Maryland areas to south of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Third, we have a consistent web advertising program started with our own website http://www.richmondfantasyfair.com . This also includes sites such as http://www.richmond.com and the website for the Richmond International Raceway.
Fourth, Radio and newspaper ads run in major cities throughout Virginia.
Fifth, we will place signs displaying the what, where and when on major roadways throughout Virginia.
Sixth, a business affiliate program to display posters supporting the Richmond Fantasy Fair.
Seventh, and I think the most important, is YOU. One person spreading the word is the most powerful tool available to make the Richmond Fantasy Fair into a major event that no one will forget.
